Contortion has worked tirelessly for years on the new album "The Common Thread."

They have amassed a collection of some of the best artists in the metal scene, past and present, to guest appear all over this devastating record. Artists from bands such as Cattle Decapitation, Mower, God Forbid, Allegaeon, Butcher Babies, Ill Nino, and more have all added their voices and talents to this masterpiece.   

With multiple producers, such as Darian Rundall (Suicidal Tendencies/Dokken) and Josh Gilbert (As I lay Dying/Bad Wolves) among others, have helped in forming the vision of what this album aims to accomplish: Change the face of metal music and push the envelope, redefining what it means to be a metal band.
